I've come across a number of comments were made juxtaposing Christian and Fascist when referring to the "Focus on the Family" types.
I have, at one point or another, used the term "Talibaptist", but it's inaccurate, they are not all Baptists and all Baptists are not them, and it doesn't convey properly to folks who are not of a like mind, like Kossaks.
Then it hit me, there is a term being put forward that conveys the following:
- Religious Fanatics.
- Anti-democratic and dictatorial.
- Violent.
What's more, it has a lot of currency among the secular wing of the right wing warmonger types.
I am referring, of course, to the term Islamofascist.
It allows them to accuse the religious Moslems barbarity, while providing a convenient out of drawing a false distinction.
I would think that Dobson and the rest of his ilk could be framed with a similar term, and it would immediately convey what we want it to, because they have been aggressively pushing the term.
How about we call them "Cristofascists"?
Does that work for you??
