Why is no one boycotting Rupert's Twentieth Century Fox Films? Let's be realistic, no Democrat of good conscience really watches Fox News, so it's not like we actually can boycott the cable news channel. Threatening Fox News advertisers with boycotts is not going to change Fox's willingness to air the leading cable news network or encourage them to bend towards the mainstream. At the same time, Fox should not reap the direct benefits of your and my dollars either, which they do from the cable companies which are the network and from advertisers of whose products we purchase.
More below the fold............
Perhaps, the solution is to let Rupert Murdoch's Twentieth Century Fox know that you are not attending their movies. Better yet, ask your friends and family to do the same. And then let Fox know that you're doing this. (Somone might even consider organizing a boycott outside theaters this summer for one Fox summer blockbuster movie).
Just a thought...
