As most of you probably know, three members of the dKos community--with help from several others--created a web site to draw attention to the Downing Street Memo. The site has received a great response since it went up just over a week ago, prompting inquiries from RawStory and the SF Bay Area's local NBC affiliate.
I was recruited to act as spokesperson on behalf of highacidity (my lovely wife), mikecan1978 and georgia10--the three principals behind downingstreetmemo.com, and today was interviewed on camera by NBC for the local 11pm broadcast. I hope I did justice to my DSM colleagues and everyone who contributed with research because it is they who deserve the credit. I'm just the mouthpiece.
If you live in the Bay Area, tune in to NBC11 tonight to see the interview (hopefully it makes the editorial cut). And join me in thanking everyone who worked on downingstreetmemo.com for producing an important and highly effective piece of citizen journalism.
