Wow - I think the religious right is now being taken advantage of...I received a Spam email speaking about:
Debt Elimination Based on Christian Principles
Normally, I never follow Spam but this intrigued me...the website link leads to
ChristianDebtRemovers.org
http://www.christiandebtremovers.org/Home.asp?Aff=1&SID=
I am torn - should I feel bad about people being taken advantage of this or laugh at someone who is again, joining the cult?
I also found comment about this on http://jenswagthoughts.blogspot.com/2004/05/when-you-think-you-have-seen-it-all.html
where a great thought exists: do you really think God approved this?
Although I am not very internet savvy, I noticed a few INTERESTING things right away...below the fold
- Other than a few Bible quotes regarding debt, there is not ONE thing regarding Christian principles on the website
- I tracked it back and found there to be commissions to other websites that generate traffic to this site
- The copy function is disabled
- The contact info requires phone numbers and email addresses but there is no email address for the alleged company ( I have no idea where the information would be sent)
- I am not certain what the Christian principles of debt forgiveness are, maybe we should ask G Bush?
Does anyone else think this is a scam? Should this link be posted on all the right wing websites/blogs or would that be too low?
