My god. I've always believed my government & trusted authorites. I don't expect all authorities to be frauds. I don't want to jump to conclusions but this just sounds like crap:
Sante Fe authorities are now trying to say the Los Alamos whistleblower, Tommy Hook, was NOT targeted but beaten up b/c he hit a pedestrian.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8168661/
BULLSHIT.
What do they base this on?
THE FOUR ASSAILANTS WHO ATTACKED HOOK & LEFT HIM FOR DEAD SAID HE STARTED IT BY STRIKING A PEDESTRIAN.
Gee. You think they'll try to put the blame on him??
Hook & his wife & family are insisting that he was lured there by a mysterious call & then attacked in the parking lot.
Peter Stockton, senior investigator for the Project on Government Oversight in Washington, D.C., questioned whether police looked for any evidence of a connection between the beating and Hook's status as a whistleblower.
"Did they get the phone records to determine who called that Saturday night? They did not get the phone records. Did they do background checks on the assailants. No, they did not. Did they conduct polygraph tests? No, they did not," Stockton said.
What's disgusting is 2 things:
- THE @#($& story on MSNBC leads people to believe that it's case closed & this guy deserved to be left for dead. It's only at the end of the story that you're informed about Hook's position & that these guys could be lying.
- THE AUTHORITIES DON'T SOUND LIKE THEY EVEN LOOKED INTO THIS!!
I'll let his attorney summarize it best:
If Hook had actually hit or nearly hit a pedestrian, Montano said witnesses could have held him down until police arrived.
"You don't beat someone to a pulp and leave them for dead because they hit you or almost hit you," Montano said. "That, to me, is a ludicrous alibi that is being given."
I dunno. I don't want to jump the gun but this just smells bad all over!!
They didn't even LOOK into the possibility of wrong doing b/c of his testimony.
I don't know what to say. Disgusting.
Perhaps getting attention on this may help:
