Excuse me, but the latest right wing talkingpoints, that Rove was trying to save Cooper from reporting false information via the Wilson report, suggests that in fact there was credible evidence that Niger wanted to sell Iraq yellowcake uranium, right? And that makes Wilson the traitor, hiding info from the U. S Govt. that Iraq did seek the uranium.
First of course, all evidence points to the accuracy of Wilson's report that Iraq did NOT attempt to buy yellowcake from Niger. To my knowledge there is not a single piece of evidence to the contrary. [including of course the forged documents]
Secondly, if as far back as 2002 the White house actually believed Wilson had intentionally misled them and given false information, aiding and abetting Saddam Hussein in acquiring uranium from Niger, why didn't they prosecute him then for treason?
The longer this goes on, the worse it looks for the republicans who shamelessly put party above country. Good, time to clean out the barn of these sucklings.
And btw: our own house needs cleaned out as well. We should begin anew with an honest aproach to government and weed out any and all self serving whores masquerading as public servants, regardless of their political affiliation.
Hopefully, this will not end with Rove, who does nothing without the expressed consent of George Bush. The proper question indeed is "what did the president know and when did he know it".

It's about a potential retaliation against a
