Congress is finally considering a change that would allow more of the people who voted for Bush to go to Iraq and fight Bush's war. The Defense Department is asking Congress to
raise the maximum age for military enlistment to 42.
The military has had trouble getting young people to enlist, which should not be surprizing. People under 25, after all, were the one age group that voted against Bush, so no one should expect them to fight his war. But once this change is made, millions who voted for W. and who tell us what a great cause this war is will finally have the change to serve the war effort in the same way they want others to.
If Congress makes this change, Bill O'Reilly will be able to say he's been "in combat" without lying his ass off.
Ann Coulter can put a uniform on her skinny ass and show everyone she's no poser.
Sean Hannity can show his committment to our nation under God.
What respect I'll finally gain for these Bushies! (Unless of course it turns out they're a bunch of lying hypocrits who want to send our children to fight a war they aren't willing to fight themselves. But I'm sure that's not the case.)
