It's a sobering sight to see the photos at the
National Security Archive site. These are photos that Bush doesn't want us to see because he doesn't like looking at them either. It might remind him of the human costs of his folly.
Some details in the photos (such as the faces of the honor guard) are blacked out, which creates a really creepy effect. It's sad that the human cost of this war is guarded so closely. Until now it has been much easier to see pornography than it is to see these dignified photos of flag-draped coffins.
