That's right. Good thing our economy is so "robust" that we don't have to worry about:
- The upcoming housing bubble
- An inaccurate unemployment number
- The fact that countless jobs have been replaced by McJobs
- The fact that increasing numbers of techincal jobs are only available in conscience and soul destroying military-industrial complex fields.
- Constantly increasing offshoring and outsourcing
more antiworrying below...
- Or that we have the greatest national debt ever
- Or the greatest consumer debt
- The greatest import/export deficit
- That we've lost most of our basic industry
- Inflation not properly accounted for in many sectors
- The continued anemic and disappointing "recovery"
- Unprecedented consolidation of power and monopoly abuses across every single sector
- The disintigration of labor unions and protections
- That we're completely diminishing our natural resource wealth further with technology and practices that're as unsustainable as ever.
People seem to easily forget that old saying about lies, damn lies, and statistics. Even waste, pollution, and destruction get counted in GDP. Robust my ass.
