This year's Justice Sunday will take place in Nashville. But Nashville's progressive Christian community is not taking this lying down, and has planned an event to show the TRUE face of Christianity. We are trying to get the word. I rarely post, so my last diary on this sank like a stone, as have several from other folks. Hope you all will help bring some visibility to this event. See below:

WHAT:
Several Nashville and national organizations will gather to let Americans know that there are many people of faith who understand the importance of the separation of church and state, who believe that all faith traditions should respect one another, and who oppose the use of government to impose the beliefs of one doctrine upon our diverse country. The gathering is intended to give Americans a spirited and inclusive message.

Bishop Maynard, Cathedral of Praise Tabernacle; Bishop Walker, Mt. Zion Ministry; and numerous others to be confirmed later this week.
NATIONAL SPEAKERS:
Rev. Rita Brock, theologian and founder of Faith Voices; Barry Lynn, ED of Americans United for the Separation of Church and State; Patrick Mroteck, president of Christian Alliance for Progress, and Rev. Emilee Whitehurst, director of Austin Area Interreligious Ministries.
