My apologies to Kos for submitting more than two posts today, but I noticed something I don't think anybody today has mentioned that needs to be said. I hope I'm wrong and if so PLEASE say so here.
Katrina, NOLA flooding, Biloxi and Gulfport, MS very much destroyed - a massive disaster of near biblical proportions, "our tsunami." And yet, I haven't read or heard one peep from a major official or paper from any other foreign country, including Britain, sending their condolences to us.
Has it finally happened? Have we pissed off the world so much now that we can't even get a simple "thoughts are with you"?
Within a day, condolences were sent to Britain when the 7/7 bombings happened. The same for the victims of the Tsunami. The same for the victims of the Madrid bombings.
It's been two days since the U.S. has suffered the greatest natural catastrophe in U.S. history - and the world has only given us silence.
Speaks volumes, doesn't it?
