My sister lives near Greensboro, North Carolina. She told me this morning that lines at the gas station were four and five cars deep. Her husband talked to the gas station owner, who said a vast majority of the state's gas comes from Louisiana. The man also said to fill up now and conserve, because most of the gas stations only had about a 7 DAY supply, and no one knew when more might be delivered.
I'm not trying to start a panic. I don't even live in North Carolina. But this is something people need to know so they can plan accordingly, and with the news channels on 24-hour hurricane coverage it's hard to say what else might reach the airwaves. So conserve your gas, people.
