I stood and listened to it, aware that I was listening to something very important, something that reached so far inside of me because I have given that same speech, used those same words to friends in difficult situations.
It's a view I never took with my Bushwit friends, but I'm planning on sending it out to them. Of course they probably won't read it - it would hit too close to their zone of reaity or nonreality, as the case may be.
I also tried to search the diaries, etc. to see if I could find it, but my search didn't really find anything. If it has been posted already, I'll certainly dispose of my diary. I believe this is the third diary I've written in the long time that I've been reading and lightly posting.
This is one of the most deeply affective and effective pieces I have read. It's beyond politics, beyond "the blame game". It's humanity trying to talk to humanity. Not an easy task.
Not one we've done very well with yet. But if those folks from NO still have hope, then so do I.
