have now happened under George W. Bush's watch.
Has anyone made this connection yet?
The worst attack on American soil, ever, 9/11, and now the worst natural disaster ever -- the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Thousands upon thousands dead.
Most of these deaths preventable, had Bush done his job.
Yet the country is letting him stay. Talking about "commissions" and "inquiries" and shifting the blame to the people he hired and appointed ........
Why? And what's the third one gonna be?
Because they come in three's. They always do
How many people, if they stopped to think about it, would really believe that it's sheer coincidence that the two worst disasters on American soil EVER ..... have now happened on George Bush's watch.
Ah, you can't blame him! Who woulda thought that terrorists would fly planes into buildings?
Who would have thought that the levees would break?
Okay, folks, what's the third one gonna be? How many people is the third one gonna kill? Where's it gonna be? Your city? Mine? Am I gonna die in the third one? What about you? What about your kids, your wife, your grandparents, your cousins?
Think about this .... and then ask yourself --
Why aren't we all, and I mean everybody, across the country, Republican and Democrat alike, clamoring for the RESIGNATION of Bush and Cheney and THE WHOLE DAMN LOT OF THEM?
Why are we talking about ANYTHING LESS THAN THIS?
Why aren't we simply saying "enough's enough" and shutting this country down, refusing to go to work, and simply sitting in the middle of the economic road (so to speak) and telling them "we're not gonna do a goddamn thing until you guys step down!"
I mean, c'mon, fuck impeachment. Fuck elections. We can't wait for those things. We need to all simply tell these dangerous fools that we're not gonna let them stay in power another day.
I am utterly mind-boggled that this is not happening in this country. That people are just going on and thinking "hm, well, I guess that one's over now. The 2nd worst disaster to ever hit American soil .... hm, funny how that happened while Bush was president, huh?"
I am so done with this country.
