Good morning, and may the gods of produce bless you. Welcome to Saturday morning garden blogging.
This is a very abbreviated post by me. Kfred is the official host of garden blogging this morning, doing our canning session. Yes, I know it's late -- we should have done this in early August. But I'm not a canner, so I don't think that way! I put up garden blogging to make sure everyone could find the way to kfred's diary.
But before I go, I have to show you a picture of the just-bloomed Lilac Time dahlia. Definitely worth the wait -- 10 inch blooms of a wonderfully vivid purple, on 5 foot tall plants.
Now, go to kfred's Saturday Morning Garden Blogging Canning Edition, where, of course, you also can tell us about what's going on in your gardens.

Instead of a gardening cat, this week you get Arwen the Terrible in her helping-mom-garden-blog mode. She like to sit on top of my computer armoire (a nice thing, because I can close the doors on my computer mess when company comes), and gaze down upon me.
I'm waiting for the day when she decides to jump down on top of my head. After all, she is the Terrible.
