This is the moment to re-introduce the "unqualified" Karl Rove to the headlines. "Bush's Brain" needs to be leveraged back into the mainstream. The Plame issue should be revisited. Rove's resume needs to be examined under a microscope. The Bush Administration is in unchartered territory and they must be struck with repeated sharp blows in order to assure that they continue their collapse.
Rove is an unprincipled hack who has thrived as his environment has devolved to the lower forms of manipulation in the pursuit of power. From romancing the sincere passion that many Americans have for their religion, to the shameful smearing of opponents to the possible rigging of elections through relationships with the very companies that are paid with our tax dollars to accurately count our votes - he has engineered an administration of bufoons and defended them with means that are absolutely counter to the foundational principles that are responsible for America's enduring success.
The administration's most succesful tactic is retribution. These tactics support a strategy of delivering our riches to the wealthy few while in total ignorance of the needs of working people. America is built on respect for the wisdom of free men and women. This foundation is not respected by the Bush Administration nor is it recognized in any form by the Rovian architecture that houses our Republican President and the congressional majority.
The result is a series of abject American failures. An examination of Karl Rove's qualifications reveal him to be wanting in experience we require for a presidential adviser impacting all forms of complex policy that affects not only our daily lives but the future of our nation and our children. More misery lies ahead unless we can stand Karl Rove up in the town square in the full light of day and have him represented for what he really is: a sycophant toady college dropout who only profits by inflicting pain, breaking laws, subverting America's founding principles and mortgaging America's future in order to claim his place next to the seat of power.
The Plame issue is core to the issues raised by the failures of this government to protect and serve in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. "Bush's Brain" documents the trail of tears wafting behind Karl Rove on his march to the White House and allows us to measure the paralllels between his history prior to and since occupying the White House.
We must strike sharply, quickly and repeatedly to assure that the message transcends the mighty baffle of the Cheney-Rove misinformation machinery.
The Plame case, a resume-review and "Bush's Brain" married in a campaign of examination of the factors that have led to America's current state of severe vulnerability are necessary and most probably productive for the Progressive future of America.
