Bush Not Aware That His Own FEMA Director No Longer Works For Him
"Maybe you know something I don't know."
That was President Bush's response to a reporter who asked whether he had heard that his own FEMA director, Michael Brown, resigned today from the administration. For the second time today, Bush demonstrated that the Commander-in-Chief is not on top of things going on inside his own government.

Update [2005-9-12 18:12:53 by VirginiaDem]: "Duct Tape" Paulson has been selected Brownie's replacement (per comments). Someone tell the President.
While I've got your attention, a point on framing: the "blame game" meme should be beaten back by pointing out that it's now hurricane season and time is of the essence to fix things ASAP. We need an independent commission on light speed and steroids before the next hurricane hits.
