if theres one thing weve learned from these hearings, it is that john roberts at least in day one, was smarter and more eloquent than the president who nominated him.
what is unclear is how someone who has consistently shown as much ineptitude as Bush, could nominate someone who MIGHT and I again emphasize, MIGHT, be a bit more moderate than Scalia or Thomas, and as brilliant as anyone else who might currently be on the court.
i refuse to believe that anything can be truly said until the entire hearings are ocmpleted,
but the biggest thing I do hold against Roberts is that why would someone so demonic and satanic as Bush nominate or be affiliated with someone who might be a "good family man", "brilliant lawyer" "great jurist" like everyone says.
Clearly Roberts must benefit the Bush Agenda, and it is the job of democrats to delineate in these hearings what exactly Bush stands to gain, by putting roberts on the supreme court.
and once that is eliecited we
will be further enlightened as to what our evil leader has in store for our country through roberts nomination.
