I voted for Bill Clinton twice, and would do so again in a heartbeat if I could. I know many around here don't think very highly of him, but I did and do still think he was a good President, and continues to show me why I like him.
He can put issues into nice everyday context that everyone can understand.
Here's one such point he made today on This Week on ABC regarding Bush's tax cuts for the rich:
Now, what Americans need to understand is that that means every single day of the year, our government goes into the market and borrows money from other countries to finance Iraq, Afghanistan, Katrina, and our tax cuts," Clinton added. "We depend on Japan, China, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and Korea primarily to basically loan us money every day of the year to cover my tax cut and these conflicts and Katrina. I don't think it makes any sense. I think it's wrong."

We need Democrats like Bill Clinton to make our case in ways that are logical and readily understandable. And, in ways that make sense to a large majority of our citizens, conservatives included.
