In fact Bush has used this technique to his advantage every single time. We just cannot keep up with all the pricks that he has made to our painfully slow advances in environment, women's rights, human rights, labor supports, safety nets. Few of us care passionately about all of the issues and we have no time to write and agitate on a few of them let alone the flock of issues at once. He also gets away with it because all the repubs are in lock step and a good deal of the dems think the home folks support him on these issues. I think the dems are mistaken. I hope the repubs find out they are mistaken come 2006 elections.
