Ok, everyone, it's time for...

Friday night catblogging!

I'll go first, with my cats.

Fat Man and Little Boy.  Yes, named after the bombs, and yes, politically incorrect,
but I worked with plutonium, so... Anyway, they're almost 14.  Also called Fat Boy and Little Man.

Annie and Little Man.  Annie and her sister Sophie were feral kittens;
we got them when they were 11 weeks old,
and tamed them.  Annie stalks Little Man.  It's sort of cute in a weird way.

Sophie on the piano and Sophie on the speaker.

Musical girl!  Actually, she attacks the speakers when she hears David Bowie's "Fashion".

 

And finally, here's Bommel.  He's Dutch and very beautiful, which he knows.  He's Frank's mom's kitty.

    This is Atrios.  He's a kitten that my daughter and I fostered and socialized.  He's now with his best pal Peanut (an orange kitten) at a lovely home in Port Hadlock!

    I have Atrios's mom, Althea.... and we're trying to find her a home.  I'd take a photo of Althea but don't have a camera.  So Atrios will have to do :)

    And you've all seen my beloved cat Bear from my signature link.  I miss him HORRIBLY! He's at my daughter's while I foster Althea, but the process is taking too long and I'm going nuts missing Bear!

      It's really hard to tame them much later than 12 weeks or so.  We got them when they were 11 weeks old, and it took a lot time time and patience.

  i needed some lighthearted fun.  1st time tonight getting in a fight with "asshole" Armando.  i was trying to get people to stop calling others names. :/

  this is my baby, ive posted him before, but it is the only decent digital picture i have of him.  he is several hundred miles away at my parents house.  he is a bad ass. or he was when he was younger.  now he just tortures the dog and not the the critters outside.

  looks like a tabby-point, a/k/a lynx point, siamese.  Is she?  We have  a tabby-point, although her markings are muddy (and her beautiful blue eyes are slightly crossed).  We named her Schmutzige Katze (Dirty Cat).  We also have Stray Cat Strut (long-haired black) and Arwen (technically a tortie, black with brushes of gold down her back)

  Alas, I too lack the ability to blog my kitty-witty-woos.  Problem one is a software upgrade which is driving me batso (plug & play.  yeah.  right.)  Part two is not feeling like finding the pics on my (screwed up!) computer.  Part 3 is not feeling like figuring out how to post them.

  In memorium: The Princess Spike, 16 y/o fat cat and queen of our kitties euthanized Oct. 29, 2004.  A/k/a Princess the Hut, Jabba the Cat (you get the idea).

  Great kitties, Plutonium. Here are my 4:

  Georgia is the oldest (6-1/2), and likes to observe everyone else. She's an Iowa kitty (found in the back of a semi when she was 6 weeks old)
  

  Sophie is the sweetest and likes people better than other cats
  

  Jimmy, 2 years old, handsome as a supermodel, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer. We got him at 3 weeks and bottle fed him. He's a big sweet goof
  

  And our youngest, Walter (almost 2). He is the alpha kitty, surprisingly

  The first is Schyler--we thought she was a he for 6 months, until I took her in to be neutered--found out he was a she!  She's my crabby kitty.  She has never forgiven the other one, Chase for replacing our beloved Chelsea.  Sky girl has love attacks, when she won't leave me alone, otherwise, she could not possibly care less.

  

  This one is my "familiar" Chase.  He had his debut on C and J this morning.  He is an absolute love--until he starts dismantleing chairs, sofas etc.

        I went to the pound in late November of 2002.  I actually went there for a small dog because I lived in an apartment at the time, but they were cleaning out the small dogs cage.. so the lady suggested I browse the big dogs.

        Of course, I fell in love with the chocolate lab jumping up and down with these big beautiful eyes.  I.had.to.have.her.  But, since they had picked her up on the street, they had to keep her for at least 30 days.  She came up for adoption on Dec. 4th and I came back every few days to visit her.

        Then on the morning of the 4th, which also was the first day of my first year law school finals, I went and picked her up.

        Having Bailey explains why my first semester grades were so shitty.. haha, but sooooo worth it.

        ... we found Jadis in a back of an 18-wheeler truck that was delivering merchandise to the store I was working for at the time. She was not full-grown yet and she was hungry, dehydrated and scared. The only reason I "met' her was because I had an office/workshop that we could keep her in at first, with a real closing door :-) I did store displays, and while I was using a hacksaw on a wooden display stand that needed modifications, she jumped up onto my workbench and tried to catch the saw as it went back and forth. Well, I just had to take her home after that. I had never lived with cats before, but me and my daughter and Jadis the cat did just fine! Here she is "wearing" my husband's cap: -highacidity-
