Update [2005-5-9 0:7:26 by Armando]: Fixed the title - had left it before to make a funny with bumblebums, who didn't get it (snark), but now that it is recommended, I fixed it.
Just something to keep in mind in terms of gauging the battle lines and where we stand on Frist's nuclear option. I peruse the Right Wing blogs with some frequency to see what the new line is from the GOP, as it will be parrotted by the Right Wing blogs incessantly. (For the record, the reverse does NOT occur here. Rarely, if ever, do we receive even press releases from the DNC or Dem leadership. Maybe we should, but we don't.)
What I have noticed in the past few days is a real pickup on attacks on Harry Reid. This means two things to me: (1) Reid has been effective in the game of winning the public relations wars with Frist and the GOP; and (2) Frist's nuclear option is very much being pushed hard and for very soon.
I have not written about these attacks on the front and very likely won't. They are all rather silly and have shown no indication of gaining traction. Certainly I would not want to help them gain such traction.
Just in case any was wondering if we noticed.
