In all of the Fitzmas hype I thought this might get lost. It's a survey of households with computers and Internet access.

Some analysis on the flip.
The AP put this out today and it's pretty interesting. Nationally 62% of us own a computer and 55% are on the net. So 7% who have a computer have no net access.
That still means almost 4 in ten people here do not have access to a computer and about half of us still don't know the pleasure of viagra ads.
This survey was done in 2003, roughly a decade since the net has really taken off. I wonder how long it will take to get the rest of us to where we are now? Is it simply economics? The famed digital divide? Is it stubbornness? Or is it just the friction of people too young to surf the web combined with the old farts that couldn't bother?
The biggest losers in this tech revolution are in the South East and Alaska and Utah will rule us all with their superior networks!
California, home Silicon Valley and the Tech revolution finished embarrassing out of the top ten on both lists. Hello Larry Ellision and the rest of you Web 1.0 Billionaires. Charity starts at home.
