I was very pleased to find this
website! Solari. I won't repeat the whole concept here in my diary; However, I want to point out that if you are concerned about globalization, about negative return on investment in our local communities, about fraudulent accounting methods in government and the lack of fiduciary transparency, there is hope!
Solari is a project started by Catherine Austin Fitts. A woman with a long resume. She was fired by the first Bush administration! She was the Assistant Secretary of Housing/Federal Housing Commissioner at HUD. She has also been a major money manager on Wall Street. You owe it yourself to check out Solari. The concept creates wealth for communities based on the resources and the people in those communities. A networked co-op type idea that allows certain software and other resources to be shared between Solari thus bringing down costs and making smaller scale commerce competitive. The idea is to decentralize wealth and put power back where it belongs in the hands of the many.
I am a cruddy math person, and a half wit when it comes to money! So I urge you again to go to the site and get involved.
The DOW index can be doing well, but, our local communities failing. Fitts developed software to gauge how well a place is doing. This concept has worldwide applications. You can join the forum and even find other people in your area to hook up and form a Solari with.
Thanks for reading this and thanks for checking this out. Often times I feel overwhelmed. Is there nothing we can do to stop the world from going down such dangerous and desperate paths? This is a rational and pragmatic answer, from a very smart and principled woman who has taken a great deal of heat for telling the truth!
Here is another positive thing one can do if you are concerned about big corporate media Media Venture Collective
