The Early Exit Polls being Bandied about here are Extremely Suspicious.
My biggest Beef- How early is "Early"? My understanding is that Exit Polling is reported in 2 waves, the 1 p.m.wave and the 5 p.m wave. Now, that's fine for 1 state, but how about when it is 7?
And yet here there is "early" exit polling for 4 states lying in 3 different time zones - how can this be?
This is National Review, the first purveyors of this political porn -
"According to sources, the early exit polls in most of the states are in, and they look like:
AZ Kerry 46, Clark 24, Dean 13.
MO Kerry 52, Edwards 23, Dean 10
SC Edwards 44, Kerry 30, Sharpton 10
OK Edwards 31, Kerry 29, Clark 28
DE Kerry 47, Dean 14, Lieberman 11, Edwards 11
Stay tuned today to see if these preliminary numbers hold when the polls close.
Posted at 01:46 PM" At 1:46 EST, that is,11:46 Arizona time, they purport to provide Arizona numbers, at 12:46 Okla. time, they purpost to provide Okla. numbers. I say Bullshit! This is Drudge nonsense, except for S. Ca and Delaware, where the numbers might be real. Otherwise this seems like bunk.
