Just wait until the Republicans start splitting,
arguing, spitting, it is going to get very noisy.
They are the party in power and that will not
be enough for them. They will grow increasingly
bold feeling the party has a mandate.
I predict
that will also make them secure enough to start
bickering, arguing, fussing, fighting,
spitting, the whole nine yards. We can keep working
for the Democrats behind the scenes and having
a healthy discourse and debate in an effort to fully unite and grow more and more.
Remember the Republicans doing this
after Clinton was elected in 92,
organizing, think tanks, debating ,
building.
To put a smiling face on this
horrible Neo Conservative movement and devastation, is that
Democrats can become stronger behind
the scenes and be less visible and
scrutinized being the minority.
I know many will disagree with me but the Big fights will come among the Republicans.
The Neo Cons will fight with the true conservatives and I expect a huge
battle over spending, social security
reform, taxes, Iraq, and
these so called social issues WITHIN the Republican party itself. The media harps
on the Democratic opposition to the Bush administration, sit back and watch and laugh
at how the Republicans like McCain, Hagel,
Graham, and some others go after Rumsfeld
and Bush like wild cats.
Bush will be considered a lame duck and
some outspoken Republicans will be
out there strutting trying to get media
attention away from Bush.
How do they do that, oppose him and be
outspoken. These are just my predictions and observations. I would love to hear yours.
It was not 2 days after the Election that Republicans were beating up on their own,
Arlen Specter, and I saw Democrats come
to his defense as well as moderate
Republicans.
I come from a moderate state and I hear
many many Republicans who wantto take
back their party from the Neo conservatives.
But I have no sympathy for them on their
buyers remorse agenda for voting for Bush,
however. But I am hearing so much
Republican angst in my county because
they wanted another choice but Bush
but could not swallow the thought of
voting for Kerry either.So they
closed their eyes, spit and voted
for Bush. Idiots, yes, but they
represent the sane ( sane but deluded and stubborn in their voting patterns and
overall limited views of the damage
Bush can do while they are waiting
to take back their party) part of
the Republican party who hates
Falwell and extremism.
