Well my brother is down for the holidays. My brother and I have a good relationship. We get along except for our politics. My brother is a Republican and I'm an anti-Republican ( wish I could say I was a Democrat; however, I've voted for Nader and the other guys when I couldn't stand the stench of the Democratic representative in an election. )

My brother is a Republican and I'm an anti-Republican ( wish I could say I was a Democrat; however, I've voted for Nader and the other guys when I couldn't stand the stench of the Democratic representative in an election. )
We had an interesting discussion this morning. Some things he told me shocked me...
- he's thinking of voting Democrat in 2006
- he's tired of the fiscal irresponsibility of the Republicans
- he's mad that the neo-conservative Christians have hijacked the party.
- he doesn't understand the whole issue with 'gay marraige.' Our attitudes are consistent here. We don't care what you do in your bedroom or with whom.
- he doesn't like to talk about the war.
- he thinks Cheney/Libby are all liars.
Need I say more.... the tide may be turning for the GOP in 2006.
We can only prey.
Also, thanks to all American soldiers everywhere for you dedication and service. For this I give thanks on Thanskgiving. Though your burden may be great, know that we at home respect and honor your service every day.
Peace to all of you on this day.....
