In light of things like ANWR and the dismissal of the Kyoto protocols, this may seem like a minor environmental victory over Bush II, but anyone who has seen Yellowstone first-hand will know just how sweet this victory is:
Judge Rejects Bush Administration Snowmobile Plan
Tue December 16, 2003 11:43 PM ET
DENVER (Reuters) - A federal judge on Tuesday threw out a Bush administration proposal that shelved a Clinton-era plan to ban snowmobiles from Yellowstone National Park -- hours before the winter season was set to begin.

I might add that prior to the ban, pollution had gotten so bad that on certain days rangers would wear masks to aid breathing. Further, the snowmobile ban had come after years of debate and was created by people who had worked and lived in Yellowstone for years -- i.e. experts.
This is just another example of Bush blantantly pandering to moneyed interests and arrogantly overturning years of carefully constructed policy.
