In contrast the DNC has:
A Presidential Fund which will have raised $15.3 million in 441(a)d funds . . . .
Now, DNC money will be directly controlled by the nominee, while the other money presumably will not be, but the numbers still don't reflect very well on the DNC. This is particularly notable when one considers that the DNC apparently does not take responsibility for House or Senate races, and so has very little else to focus on. I think the disparity is fairly easily explained. It is a matter of trust. Donors trust groups other than the DNC more than they do this official focal point for Presidential donation gathering.
