I didn't see this already diaried so....
We know the oil execs lied to congress, and even though they weren't under oath, we also know it is a crime to lie to congress. Now it appears that at least a few senators are calling for an investigation by the DoJ into the testimony the execs gave last month.
Some U-S senators want an investigation into whether any of the leaders of five oil companies lied or misled Congress about profits.
Today's request to the Justice Department came from eight Democratic lawmakers over a question during a November ninth hearing in Washington.
Can anyone find any other reports of this and/or provide the list of Senators pushing for this? They need to know we are behind their efforts.
We need to stay on this story and make sure it gets the exposure it needs.
