Jean Schmidt has some nerve. The mobile billboard and newspaper ads the DNC is running against Mean Jean arrived in the second district today, and the queen of all talking points lashed out at...
Howard Dean.
"I continue to support our troops and I'll match my rhetoric against Mr. Dean's anyday and let the public decide who really supports our men and women in uniform."
One of the local television stations is running a poll. It's a bit hard to find, but make sure to vote.
So Jean Schmidt thinks that wearing oversized flag buttons while attacking Paul Hackett's service is "supporting the troops?" Jean Schmidt thinks that calling John Murtha a coward is "supporting the troops?" Jean Schmidt thinks that wearing the Harlem Globetrotter warmup uniform on the floor of the House is "supporting the troops?" And most amazingly, Jean Schmidt thinks that following this president's failed plan in Iraq is "supporting the troops?"
Newsflash to Jean Schmidt: There is a reason that you only received 51% of the vote in the special election... and it had a whole helluva lot to do with Iraq. And guess what... You were on the losing side of people that voted solely on that issue. Unfortunately, she won't even make it out of the primary in 2004.
Freep the poll by the time the newscast runs tonight.
Oh, the article linked at the top has a video clip of Jean Schmidt too. It's well worth the watch for those that find her humorous at this point.
Enjoy!
