To get to the heart of who George W. Bush and Richard P.Cheney really work for come take a look at Texas and the decades long struggle to hold the oil companies and the petrochemical companies accountable for the millions of pounds of annual toxic emissions of formaldehyde, benzene, butadien, etc. These companies are fighting tooth and nail to avoid installing state of the art equipment which would go a very long way to cleaning the air and protecting the whole country from the drift of pollution. To my knowledge no one has done a study of the health and environmental costs of breathing and drinking this garbage that's spewed into our air and water to compare that with the few billion dollars it would take to clean things up.
