He's
coming to town. I don't think he's visiting Luke Air Force base just to try out the
Night Vision Goggle Simulator, but "no formal event is scheduled there."
So what brings him to sunny Glendale, Arizona, home of 110-degree afternoons? Not hot enough in Crawford? Or too much "heat" from Camp Casey?
No, he's coming here to visit a rather high-end RV park/golf resort ("now watch this shot"?) and hold an invite-only "Conversation on Medicare" town-hall for 400 of his closest hand-picked friends. Perhaps he's updating his will to seek Salvation, or getting tips on how to prepare for a visit to Camp Casey [yes, the Salvation Army Lt. Colonel cited in those items really is one of the selectees for the exclusive event].
So what's the appropriate strategy? Who should people contact to organize a response? Who are the local organizers, already in place, trusted, with a network ready to plug in to?
Update [2005-8-27 14:2:10 by raines]: Update: He's heading to California right afterwards! Let's make sure he's getting the same pushback all day.[/UPDATE]
Perhaps he's just shopping for a new home?

Seriously, folks, where's the response? They may not make it easy for our voices to be heard, but I know from coming out last Fall to help "turn AZ Blue" that there's hope 'round these parts!
