Today's Washington Post article about how Tom DeLay is "working" his indictment as if it were a political campaign made me sit back and think about how justice is bought and sold in America.
Not only does DeLay (and other rich and powerful people) have the time and money to judge-shop, DeLay (and people on his behalf) are spending time and money on a campaigan against the prosecutor and to influence the jury pool.
People around the world must look at this buying and selling of justice as just one more proof of the hypocrisy of Americans who promote our form of government around the world.
