This is quite interesting and unexpected -- what a great way to make Bush waste some more money in
red country.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- John Kerry will make a push into Republican-leaning Virginia when he launches new television commercials next week, the start of a $17 million monthlong ad campaign that also targets black and Hispanic audiences.
"This is a gesture of strength," Mary Beth Cahill, Kerry's campaign manager, said Thursday.
And now for the kicker quote:
"There's a tremendous opening," said Tad Devine, a Kerry strategist.
"When you put all those things together, we see Virginia as a state John Kerry can win."
Let's hope they know what they're doing -- this is part of a $17,000,000 buy.
