In light of the bad reporting by WSJ recently, slandering Kos without cause, I have to say there are other stories that come to mind along these lines. It is outrageous that these supposedly professional news venues allow such obviously sloppy journalistic standards.
Remember when Our President made allusions to the use of "uranium tubes from Africa" in his state of the Union Address? Remember that little gem. And it was discovered to be based on documents that were ten years old. Where was the outrage that something like this could be used as to promote a false threat to promote a War?

Remember the Jessica Lynch story? Using a pretty girl and a heartrending sob story to promote their military agenda! Bad reporting and completely outrageous!
"Her rescue will go down as one of the most stunning pieces of news management yet conceived. It provides a remarkable insight into the real influence of Hollywood producers on the Pentagon's media managers, and has produced a template from which America hopes to present its future wars." Remember when the administration released its report that terrorism was at it lowest in 20 years?
"On April 29 the Bush administration released Patterns of Global Terrorism Report claiming that terrorism fell in 2003 to its lowest since 1969. However, on Thursday the State department released a statement saying that the data in the report was incorrect. The correct data shows that terrorism attacks rose by 36 percent in 2003, the highest level in 20 years. "

And now we have to pay our Social Security dollars to run ads saying that Social Security is in some state of horrible emergency end run crises. We have to pay for this proganda that robs future generations of funds for a secure retirement.
The Republican Culture of Deception in News is getting a little out of hand! They need to be called to task for their outrageous deception.
Does anyone else have a little "fake news story" they would like to share showcasing how the republicans are using sloppy journalism and fake news to promote their agenda.
Could it be the more threatened they feel, the more off base their stories become. The truth seems to be a huge threat to these people. They don't want it to get out so they manage it. How dare they!
Call it what you will, news management, spin, sloppy journalism, promoters paid with tax payers dollars, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth!
