...what? And where is it?
Too many of them "flux" on a poll-by-poll basis--regardless of the pollster's reputation. (EX: http://www.electoral-vote.com/index.html gives WI to Bush based on a Badger state poll that gives Bush a 52-38 lead in that state. Ridiculous!)
So, are there any others that people have been linking to on a daily basis that are a bit more, shall we say, reputable? My faves have been just looking at the "real clear politics" cite, which lists ALL of the polls, then making my own determination. That takes time, however. The other thing I do is rely on Zogby interactive--which at least has the advantage of being consistent (methodology-wise) from day-to-day.
The best solution, perhaps, to this dilemma might be to have Kos update one on a daily basis. Or get Ruy Texeira to do it.
This election still has almost six weeks to go. It'd be nice if there were a better tool available. Any other thoughts?
