This is my letter in response to the recent article by one Dr. Chuck Williams, columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, "Liberals must come down off our high horses."

The text begins:
"It took me nearly one-third of my life to come to a simple conclusion: Liberals are elitists.
Now, maybe that's not such a big deal to some, but to me it has become quite bothersome. It's pretty clear to me now that average hard-working Americans, be they red-staters or blue-staters, can smell the stench of elitist, intellectual posturing by so-called liberals and progressives."
WOW, thanks Chuck!

My letter to the man below:

Dear Dr. Williams,
Good on you, Doctor, though I know that prefix embarrasses you for not being as humble as you are. Can I just call you Chuck? And good for realizing that it is Conservatives who really ARE the elite, and the ones who make America work, and made America work when it did back whenever that was.
So now that Conservatives have Fox News and talk radio and basically the whole media, it is good to see be constantly reminded how the Conservative pundits are down to earth regular guys, like our President. Very sharp analysis. Oh, and you are a LIBERAL admitting liberals faults--how clever! You must be speaking honestly then, no matter how much they are paying you.
Note I'm only spelling correctly because of spell-check -- since becoming Conservative I don't think as a rule. I'm glad you have joined the sacred effort in telling America from the Conservatives high perch in control of the country how you are not the hated "elite." Oddly the real elites, the progressives, can never get this message or reply to it. That must be because they are so elite.
And GOOD for admitting you hate yourself. Nicely done. Interesting you were recruited so late in the game, however, when your admission will seal you to the fate of the Conservative movement. Still, well done, comrade!
In your next article, could you explain what Conservatives conserve? Thanks!
