We've got a new cousin, folks!
Left-leaning global news blog The Agonist has launched a new collaborative journalism website based on Scoop, the same back end we enjoy so much here at dKos.
Apparently, Sean-Paul intends to switch over to the Scoop site full time after the bugs are worked out. Presently, it's not even beta. That means if you get in now, you can snag a classy low-number account ;> For those of you wondering why we need Agonist when we've got dKos, Agonist is all about global news and foreign policy, whereas dKos is supposed to be for political analysis and domestic policy. Both sites are fighting the same war, just in different theatres. Plus, it looks like Agonist's Scoop has regular users enabled to post stories on the main page. This is going to be fun: Collaborative Media for the Masses.
