While waiting in line in the lunchroom at my latest temp job -- at a company that's about to close its doors due to a post-merger consolidation move that shifted the vast majority of its production overseas -- I let my eyes wander over to the silent TV in the corner, where I saw Preznit Bush mouthing a speech (it was silent, remember?) to a group of veterans in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and the headline on the screen (provided by Faux News) said,
We will not tire or rest until the War on Terror is won.
Oh, Really?
This, coming from a president who has spent
20 percent of his time in office on vacation. As of last August, he had already taken 320+ days in five years -- that's an average of 64 days a year -- when the average American family gets only
16 days a year?
This, coming from a president who is attempting to give those who don't need to work an even freer ride?
Well, I for one don't believe you, George. Why, you ask?
Because you're a Liar and anytime I see you point us in one direction, I look 180º in the other direction to see where you're really trying to get us to go.
So. the gauntlet's thrown. Prove me wrong. I dare ya!
