Just got Dude Where's My Country and the first part of it seems pretty on-topic with what Moore's next movie will be about: Bush's family ties to the Bin Ladens. It is truly damning stuff.
Given the number of people who saw Bowling For Columbine and the recognition it received, do you think there is a chance that Farenheit is going to be a decent "hit" (not Harry Potter but some respectable showings) and may make a difference in this year's election? (They are releasing it in Fall of 04).
I think there is the potential to do just that- especially if this administration is stupid enough to halt showing of the film or contend in any way it should not be shown-- won't Bush have to answer to some of Moore's charges?
I know a lot about ths 9-11 topic- the most damning thing I didn't know before I read the book:
Several of the Bin Laden family members flown out of the US a couple days after 9-11 (at the behest of the US Govt- Bush's govt) had just attended a family wedding 6 months prior to 9-11 which Osama attended as well-- in other words, he ain't no black sheep.
If you said: I know 8 people who were publicly seen with Bin Laden 6 months ago and they are in this country... wouldn't those be people you'd want to detain, question, etc. ??????????
Man I hope Dean or Clark or whoever the nominee is hits Bush over the head with this in the debate.
