Tonight at least 49 people were killed and over a hundred wounded in 7 explosions in Sharm el Sheik in the Sinai Peninsula Egypt. Israel had warned its citizens on June 10th not to travel to this area due to a high risk of a terrorist attack. It was annoulnced at least in HaAretz and the Jerusalem Post.
Why was this warning not picked up by all the security services around the world and why was the public not warned? And where was the media, that didn't think this notice worth a reprint???

The Prime Minister's Office issued a laconic statement, saying "The National Security Council Counter-Terrorism Headquarters recommends that Israelis refrain from visiting Egypt including the Sinai Peninsula; the terrorist threat against Israelis in Sinai has recently intensified.". A senior security official confirmed reports about specific information that terrorists were targeting popular tourist locations all along the Sinai coast. (Jerusalem Post, Israel)
