Just wanted to share a couple of things. Lots of buzz about Gore out there today.
Gore hires Dean's campaign manager, Roy Neel via Political Wire. It appears Neel is going to be helping in the global warming campaign. This is yet another sign Gore is thinking about running.
There's more...
U.S. News and Report mentions Gore as a possible candidate again.
Gore transfered $40,000 from one of his 2000 general election accounts to Gore 2000 (his Primary campaign account) and paid a polling firm the same amount of money. Gore's office says it was to pay an old debt off, but there might be more to this.
This editorial crediting Gore for leading the fight against global warming appeared in the Miami Herald and a few other newspapers in AZ and PA.
There has been a steady flow of good news for the Draft Gore movement. Gore is making the right moves politically to put himself in a good position to take the nomination. When Gore's movie comes out in late May I think it is going to do two things, #1 Bring attention to Global Warming, a very serious threat, and #2 launch a grassroots movement dedicated to drafting him to run for President.
I hope KOS includes Gore in the next straw poll. Gore has never said NO to 2008. If Gore were included in the next poll I believe he would win. A victory in that poll would send him a clear message that the netroots is behind him and it is time to get into the race.
