According to the
LA Times, Kerry has condemned the anti-Bush ads run by
MoveOn.
This ad was a response to the "Swift Boat" ad run by the wingnuts for "truth", directly condemned by John McCain but not Bush.
This is an interesting tactic for Kerry to take as it distances him from the attack, gives the attack visibility, and makes clear that Bush has not denounced the ad against him.
Although I would like to see some serious investigative journalism into the truth behind Bush's service in the Guard, I think that this move will be seen as a good one by more moderate voters.
