The Associated Press has more and more writers, I think, who tilt right. Here's yet another example. Yahoo.com and many other newsfeed portals are running right now the AP story "Ex-Businessman Sworn in as Houston Mayor."

It doesn't headline the simple fact that this Mayor, in Bush's backyard, is a DEMOCRAT.

I'm disappointed that the AP is running the story, "Ex-Businessman Sworn in as Mayor," without headlining that the mayor is a Democrat, even on the same day that Texas octogenarian U.S. Congressman Hall is cravenly switching to the Republican Party.
What is more, the story on Hall

completely missed the real point! It quotes Hall deep in the article thusly: "'I've always said that if being a Democrat hurt my district I would switch or I would resign,' Hall said in an interview with The Associated Press. He said GOP leaders had recently refused to place money for his district in a spending bill and "'the only reason I was given was I was a Democrat.'"
There story there is of GOP blackmailing at the expense of the people of Hall's district. The story reveals that the GOP under its current leadership cares nothing for bipartisanship--they distain cooperation and compromise.
AP, you are being watched and your increasingly unsubtle right-wing tilt IS being noticed!
