I want to introduce myself because I've been waiting for awhile to decide what my first post will be like.
My name is Landon and I live in Portland, Oregon and I go to Lewis & Clark College. I've been an avid DKos reader for about a year now.
I'm also a competitive debater at my school. I've decided to write a speech about blogging.
As an avid Daily Kos reader, I will post the full speech text to the site when I'm done with it. In full DKos fun, I want suggestions for jokes, points to make and general nonsense to add to it.
The type of speech is called "After Dinner Speaking" and it is supposed to be humorous. But I think the ultimate test of the speech will be its blog format - therin, I will hand out the blog transcripts of suggestions to it in the round.
At the end of the round I'm planning on distributing a piece of paper to make the process even more interactive - it will guide my captive audience to DKos.
What do you all think?
