I have always wondered about the logic of The Club for Growth attacking Dean in the primaries, particularly since the Bush team is supposedly relishing a Dean match up. It made no sense for a Republican organization (described in The Center for Public Integrity link as a "Group of fiscal conservatives active in Republican primary elections") to be trying to tear Dean down when that is the match-up they want.
So what's the deal?
