I opened a new account solely for these SHOPs (short for PhotoShop, a popular software for manipulating photos) under the name SHOP. Can't post diaries for a week, so I'll continue posting under my main account until then.
Today I decided to change SHOP just slightly. It'll still be a daily thing, but also include some minor points that are important for all to know (some minor news snippets that have slipped by, fairly new quotes or articles, etc.). Nothing too significant.
Also, I'll be offering more than just Bush for captions and manipulating. Now, onto the post-fold content:

This morning on "Today", Katie Couric asked Tim Russert about the "so-called Downing Street Memo", and how it raises arguments about America saying war was inevitable and that the intelligence was being fixed around the policy.
Russert, in true GOP talking point fashion, replied that it gives fuel to those who want to bring the troops home, it proves that America knew war was inevitable and they needed a way to justify the war, and intelligence failed the administration and the American people. He also included the "fixed in the British sense" terminology.
Russert should know, but apparently doesn't want to say, that the intelligence didn't fail the American people, it failed Bush, because it proved that the justification for the war wasn't there. Ask Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame how much it failed Bush. Ask Ray McGovern how much it failed Bush.

Anyways, feel free to manipulate any of the above images, and add your own captions. Readers, feel free to tip those you enjoy.
Any comments on the new style of SHOP? Should it be done later in the day, less often, better images, etc? Feel free to comment.
Also, please recommend should you feel more people should see these SHOPs. It falls off the 10-diary list within fifteen minutes during the day.
