A couple of friends of mine have started up their own liberal podcast out of Missouri. It's a great little show called "Where is this Going?" Why did they do this? Well, because they are fed up with the way corperate radio, and feel the only way to get their views across is through this new media. Podcasting.

More below the fold.
Being a liberal in Missouri these days can be a daunting experience. Go anywhere besides St. Louis and you run the risk of offending the Republicans with a simple look, comment, or bumper-sticker. Since moving here from California, restricting what I say has become an everyday event. That was until I went back to college. Thats where I met Scott and Jason.
Scott and Jason are what you would call "free-thinkers", and disenfranchised individuals. After several years in corperate radio, they both decided that there were better and more creative ways to express themselves. So they formed a production company called Tin Ceiling. Although theater plays are considered "low-tech" in todays ever changing world, they were able to get their abstract views across to the world. This only encouraged them to do more.
Eventually, they grew into other forms of media. They are delving into the indy movie market with several films that will premere at local film festivles, and they are both part of the "liberal controlled" college system. (Scott is a teacher, Jason works for a school). But they never stop trying to get their views across.
That is why they created the podcast of "Where is this Going?" It is a nice mix of politics, humor, outrage, music, and local events. Why do I like the show as much as I do? It has nothing to do with friends or anything like that. It happens to be that I find it refreshing to hear like minded people voicing the same ideals and views I hold in a "red state" as Missouri. (which is also why I enjoy Kos so much. So many like minded individuals here.)
So give the show a listen to, (its just over 30 minutes) and let me know what you think. If you have any suggestions, let me know, and Ill pass it onto the guys. They always consider new things, and your opinion will not be ignored.
