After reading an opinion piece here at Colorado State University I find myself de-lurking to share the outrage. It wasn't a surprise that coward conservative
Ryan Chapman already has graced these pages for his
tear gas Cindy Sheehan and the protesters piece. Amazingly, our college newspaper The Collegian has signed on Ryan for yet another semester of hate-filled operation yellow elephant ramblings.
The mean-spirited Chapman kicked off the new semester with a real slanderous foot-stomping of a piece that even Horowitz could be proud of calling for David Letterman to be tried for treason. He starts off in a huff over O'Reilly's treatment on Letterman, which he claims led to a startling realization,
It was at this moment I had an epiphany. I realized for the first time that Letterman and the army of liberal nut jobs he speaks for (many of whom were in the audience cheering) are actually rooting for us to lose in Iraq. It dawned on me that a rather large constituency of democrats would be happy if we were beaten out of Iraq. They could then hold this monumental failure over the head of their arch enemy President George W. Bush. I have said before I believe liberals are lying when they claim to support the troops but I now realize I was only half right; they flat out want the troops to lose.
Wow, what an admission by Chapman that he was only half-right. I'm pretty sure that's the closest he will ever come to admitting he is flat-out wrong about progressive liberals. And I hope I'm not the only one who will be letting him know how wrong he is about our love for this country. But Ryan must press on to make sure he bones up his hacktacular credentials to ensure that marketing degree nets him a tasty party job when he graduates later this year.
Many of you may be reading this and making the exact same realization I did. You also may be wondering how in the hell people can get away with rooting against their own country in a time of war, like I am. I have all the respect in the world for the First Amendment but this goes way beyond that. As far as I am concerned this behavior is treason and should be tried as such. The only problem is that I have no physical evidence of my claims; it just happens to be a theory of mine.
Yeah Ryan, I bet this hateful screed was a real eye-opener for a lot of folks on campus. Anyone who might have missed your deceptive bile last year will surely know what an arrogant prick you are after reading this. I'm not even sure Chapman is a genuine conservative, it appears that he is more of an attention whore suffering from narcissistic personality disorder (this just happens to be a theory of mine, heh). Just look at how he closes his column:
In the next few days, I foresee a lot of response from liberals claiming they are "appalled" by my comments and they do indeed want America to win the war in Iraq. These people are lying or at least most of them are. Though they would never admit it publicly, these people would feel just a little bit of joy at the thought of a pull out from Iraq. And that my friends, is just sick.
This boy can hardly wait to hear from you, don't let him down. Letters to the editor can also be sent.
